Batteries are classed as Hazardous goods during shipping and many postal providers such as Royal Mail do not allow batteries into the postal network - failure to comply with postal restrictions can result in prosecution from the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority).

What does this mean for you?

It simply means that any order containing a battery will have to be sent using an appropriate method, usually an express method. Postage will be calculated at checkout.

It also means that we cannot ship your order on a Saturday as we don't have a collection. If your order contains a battery, we can only ship Monday to Friday - Our cut off time for same day dispatch will remain in line with standard orders.
