Replacement parts and batteries

Unless otherwise stated in the items description, replacement parts and batteries do not come with tools or fitting instructions.
Replacement parts and certain batteries should only be fitted by a trained electronics engineer.
Any warranty offered will be withdrawn if the part had become damaged by incorrect fitting or if the item has been used for anything other than its intended use.

Dispatch

All items purchased are picked, packaged and dispatched within 24 hours of purchase with the exclusions of Sundays and Bank holidays due to postal service limitations - we will notify you of any delay processing your order.

Your postal address

Please check your shipping address carefully, we (The Replace Base Ltd) are not responsible for any loss occurred in transit due to missing address information, incorrect or old address or items being refused at an address, if an item has been dispatched to the incorrect address we will re-dispatch or refund if the order is returned to us by the courier or recipient.

To comply with PayPal's policies when making payment using PayPal Express we use the address registered with PayPal, before making your order using PayPal Express please ensure your address is correct with PayPal.
 

Missing orders

Unfortunately from time to time packages do get lost or delayed, Royal Mail won't class any item as missing until 14 working days (UK) has passed. If the package is lost or delayed a new item will be posted out, if the item is no longer available a full refund will be issued.

We may ask you to sign a declaration stating that you haven’t received your goods, we will then use this to make a claim with Royal Mail, if the form is not signed and returned we wont be able to issue a refund or replacement until Royal Mail have contacted you to confirm non-receipt or until Royal Mail have concluded the investigation.
Please note: We always claim for losses from Royal Mail. Royal Mail won’t tolerate abuse of the postal system.

Returns 

All of the items we stock have a minimum 90 day warranty and a 30 cooling off period, some items have extended warranty periods. warranty length will be stated within the items description.


Checking your order:

Once your order has arrived you have 14 days* to inform us of any damage, missing or incorrect items - if you do have an issue with your order please get in contact. 
Check carefully for any cosmetic or visual damage / defects. By fitting / using the part you accept the part in the condition it was received and we are unable to accept the return of any part that has been fitted with cosmetic / visual damage.

* Extended to 60 days for purchases made between 1st November to 31st December 

Cooling off period:

You can return your item within 30 days of purchase for any reason excluding user damage; this may be because you have changed your mind or the item is simply not what you expected. You will be responsible for the cost of the safe return of the item. Items must be in the same condition as they were received and in a re-sellable condition. We recommend using tracked post with good packaging as we are not responsible for loss or damage during return transit.
To return a product to us please get in contact and we will provide a RMA number and return details

Warranty:

If your product fails during the items warranty period please get in touch, we will refund or replace the item and fully reimburse you for the return postage costs if found to be faulty.

Items description

We try to describe all products as accurately as possible, if you feel that information we have stated is incorrect or vital information is missing from the description please get in contact and we will rectify the issue for you and if required amend the listing.
If the item you received doesn’t match the items description we will exchange or refund the item and reimburse you for any costs involved returning the item.

Postage Refund:

On certain products we may offer to pay return postage costs for any item begin returned including item being returned under our 30 day policy, if your item is included within this promotion you will have received a promotional leaflet with your order.
Under this promotion we will pay return postage costs up to standard postage rates (UK=Royal Mail 1st Class Standard / Airmail= Airmail untracked / standard) you must provide proof of postage and you are responsible for the items safe return, we are not liable for any items lost or damaged in transit. 
When claiming a postage refund under this promotion the item must be returned in the same condition it was received / unused / unopened. 

EU Express postage refunds:


If you have purchased an item and selected an express EU option at checkout you will only receive a refund on the original postage costs if an item is being returned as faulty and the fault is confirmed by our technician. If you no longer want the product and are returning for a refund you will be issued a refund for the items value only.

Loyalty Points

Any loyalty points issued by The Replace Base Ltd are issued at our discretion - points can be added and deducted at our discretion.
Loyalty points are non transferable, points will be issues on accounts when we dispatch orders, and cancelled, refunded or declined orders will have the points deducted. 
We reserve the right to change point value and remove the loyalty point promotion without notice. 
Points are valid for 6 months from the date the order was dispatched. 
Points are only available to customers who register / hold accounts with The Replace Base Ltd, we are unable to add points from previous orders or orders processed without logging in / crating an account.
When PayPal Express is used our checkout and registration is bypassed by PayPal, due to this no points can be allocated if PayPal Express is used.

Current rates of loyalty points are £1 spend = 1 point, 1 point = £0.02. Points are issued on item value only excluding shipping costs

The Replace Base Ltd only supplies customer information to third parties for order processing and delivery purposes. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item.
