Batteries are classed as Hazardous goods when shipping, due to many postal providers such as Royal Mail not allowing batteries into the postal network - failure to comply with postal restrictions can result in prosecution from the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority).
What this means for you..
It simply means that any order containing a battery will have to be sent using an appropriate method; usually an express method. Postage will be calculated at checkout.
It also means that we are unable to ship your order on a Saturday as we don't have a collection. If your order contains a battery we can only ship Monday to Friday - Our cut off time for same day dispatch will remain in line with normal orders .
