A mystery battery for a mystery phone.

OK, so we know a little about these, The Google Pixel 2 XL was originally prototyped by HTC (who make most of Googles Pixel phones) however in the end Google decided to go with LG for the manufacture of the Pixel 2 XL (something that that later regretted!)

This battery was originally developed for the prototype HTC Google Pixel XL 2, HTC later went on to use this failed Pixel as the HTC U11+ however they redesigned the battery slightly to give it a 3930mAh battery, not the 3830mAh that this battery is.

So, this battery is a battery for a phone that doesnt actually exist.

Parts Origin - OEM

The term OEM stands for 'Original Equipment Manufacturer', the exact meaning differs in several industries.

To us, OEM means that the part is the same part used within your device, using the same materials and specifications.

We use the term OEM to cover many parts from refurbished, used and new components, the exact condition will be stated in the items description.

In some cases when the part supplied is made up to several components (for example an LCD assembly) the part may have been assembled by a 3rd party vendor using OEM parts meaning that consumable may differ (such as adhesive used)

Although strict testing procedures are put in place to ensure the quality of the part these testing practices and procedures may differ from the checks manufacturers use.

Any hardware supplied as OEM will not have any quality loss or loss of features and covered under our extensive returns policy.

As in many cases we dont obtain directly from the devices manufacturer, nor in some cases are we affiliated with device manufacturer in any way and they are not involved in the testing or sales process of the component we sell.

Review from Mystery Human Posted on 18/12/2018

I bought this battery for my non existent phone, to my surprise it worked a treat! Almost as good as when i first didn't get the phone! it wasn't easy to open the device, but after a couple of searches offline and a brave attempt to pretend to open the phone i didn't have with imaginary tools.. I was successful!!! and after that it was a walk in the park with the dog. Unfortunately i did break one flex during the repair but as it did nothing along with the rest of the phone anyway i didn't worry about replacing it. it has been 4 weeks since i pretended to replace the battery and still haven't had to charge the myth of a phone! Thank you so much Replacebase! Happy Christmas!
