We all love the PS4 but they are dust magnets!
This Ps4 dust proofing set includes brackets and foam filters that snap into place on the PS4 to prevent dust getting inside, it also includes 4 port covers to prevent a build up to dust in unused ports (2 x USB, LAN and AUX)
The kit installs in 5 minuets, doesn't require any special tools and wont invalidate your warranty, it can also be removed, cleaned and re-fitted as many times as you want!

Parts Origin - OEM
The term OEM stands for 'Original Equipment Manufacturer', the exact meaning differs in several industries.

We use the term OEM to cover many parts from refurbished, used and new components, the exact condition will be stated in the items description.
In some cases when the part supplied is made up to several components (for example an LCD assembly) the part may have been assembled by a 3rd party vendor using OEM parts meaning that consumable may differ (such as adhesive used)
Although strict testing procedures are put in place to ensure the quality of the part these testing practices and procedures may differ from the checks manufacturers use.
Any hardware supplied as OEM will not have any quality loss or loss of features and covered under our extensive returns policy.
As in many cases we dont obtain directly from the devices manufacturer, nor in some cases are we affiliated with device manufacturer in any way and they are not involved in the testing or sales process of the component we sell.
For weeks my son had to put up with playing his favourite games for no more than 20 minutes after which the PS4 fan would come on at full speed - really loud. I carefully followed some tutorials on Youtube and dismantled the PS4 to find the heatsink cooling fins caked in dust - no wonder it was overheating. Re-assembled with new thermal paste and all is well. I noticed these on ebay and decided to give them a try as they cost very little. Clipping the mesh neatly between the top and botton plastic frams was a little fiddly but once done they look the part. I had to remove two clips on one filter where the fan housing extends out into the slot a little. Once this was done both filters clipped neatly in place and should keep out all the dust. I don't plan on cleaning my PS4 again!
Dust has always been a personal nemesis for me & my electronic equipment. After a recent deep-clean of a couple of PS4 systems, I noticed how incredibly dusty they were (heat sink & fan unit caked in dust), which had a huge impact on air-flow & heat management for the system, making it sound like a jet engine when running anything. I saw these filters, whilst browsing for replacement parts, & decided to give them a shot. Cheap, yet simple in design, the dust-proofing mesh clip discretely into the side slots of the PS4 & are barely noticeable. Each is easy to clip together, sandwiching a strip of foam between the plastic casing, allowing for airflow into the system, but (hopefully) trapping dust in the foam, which can be vacuumed &/or washed to clean. The port covers aren't something I'll likely use, as all my ports are usually in use, but they seem reasonably well made & fit into their respective ports, so should work as intended. Whether the dust meshes actually prevent or reduce dust build-up within the PS4, only time will tell. At the very least, they should reduce the amount of dust entering into the air intakes &, for the price of a coffee, can't be a bad thing to purchase. Only improvement I would like is for the foam to be replaced with HEPA filters, to help reduce other airborne particulates, though this would likely affect the price. All in all, an affordable add-on item to your next purchase.
